Not a place for any self respecting person. My wife and I came to Boksburg for a funeral. This place we found on an internet search, and booked and paid for 3 nights. On the first day there already was a lot of noise, but bearable. On the second night there arrived a group of men with a bunch of women(**********s I assume). They immediately started playing loud music and started drinking.

I complained, and later asked for a refund. The owner said he will by no means give us a refund because we paid with a credit card(what a bunch of BS). Being the only 2 south africans between a group of african foreigners including the owner, my wife and I were forced to pack up and search alternative accommodation for safety reasons. The receptionist however I could see really wanted to help us, and she seemed frustrated - but I knew she could not do anything. We lost two nights' worth of fees due to a thieving owner who does not care about the guests staying in the rooms.

Secondly, this is not a guest lodge, not even close. This is a "backpackers". What you see on their website vs what you get is two completely different scenarios.
