The struggle to get back my R2500 deposit.
My family and i booked Langebaan la Khaya for 3nights from the 3rd-6th of January 2020, the booking was fine, booked through Lekkeslaap. We were asked to do a 50% deposit, wich we did and the rest of the money we had to pay apon arrival when qe meet with the manager
A day before we had to go, i recieved an email to say that a deposit of R2500 had to be paid with the rest of the money payable on the day of arrival, and if all is in order we get the Deposit back. On the 6th of January 2020, We left everything in very good condition. We were even told by the manager, "thank you for leaving the house so neat. Other people come and just leave the place dirty " we left rhe house like we found it.
Up until today we have not recieved our deposit back. I have called, sent emails, sent messages, but i dont get responses. For the first month the manager Stephan Le Roux rep**** to some of the massages and assured me the money will be paid within 14days. Then 14days became 1month and a month became 2months. And then nothing...Then no response...until they just ignored my calls. I really dont know what to do to get my deposit back
Ps..U get to the pool, you find One camping chair to sit on and the house accomadates 18 guests. You also find out on the day if arrival that you have to buy electricity yourself if you run out. The dining room has one table and 8chairs, but they must accommodate 18 guests. Doesnt make sense....there is baths with no plugs.. the evening i had to call to ask for plugs as i had 3month old 2year old and 9 year old.
I would seriously Not Recommend this place to anyone
