New Changes leave patients vulnerable especially children

I am writing this review to express my deep frustration and disappointment with LA Health Medical Aid regarding the recent changes to the over-the-counter (OTC) benefits. As a mom of two, one teen and a 2 month old baby, not having access to basic medication to manage everyday health issues at home is ridiculous. Here I am paying medical aid have thousands in my MSA, get to a pharmacy to get essential meds for my daughter who has gastro and I am told sorry you need to pay out of pocket as your OTC is depleted. I ca. understand if I have depleted my MSA but I am sitting with over R10 000 and now.my kid suffers, I am a frustrated mom with a sick child.
