Claim not attend-no communication (worst service ever)

I'm on LA Health Active option, on the 8th June my audiologist sent a claim to my medical aid requesting that I be considered for hearing aids due to a trauma accident that happened on the 16th December 2015 where I was ****** and harmed by some ****. I ended up in hospital the accident caused deafness in my ears where my audiologist suggested that I should be given hearing aids. LA Health kept on giving me the run around telling me I do not have funds to cover this and the claim that I see under my benefits for hearing aids is only for trauma accident, I explained to them what transpired and they requested for my Dr to send through a motivation to decide whether they will pay out for the device till to date no communication has been received as promised from them. They promised that they will contact me after 2 to 3 working days that was in mid June and later and on the 5th of July I received this correspondence via email from them

Good day

Thank you for contacting us.

Practice number: **********

Member number: ********** 60

We have transferred your request

We have transferred your request to our relevant department to review the documentation received from you.

The standard turnaround time is 5 to 7 working days.

That was the end of communication, never been contacted back or even received a courtesy call to check whether everything is fine. This is affecting my function at work as I am having difficulty hearing clearly during meetings and now they considering moving to the back office because my medical aid is refusing to pay me or let alone explain what is the hold up with this claim since June 2016 as we are now in September 2016.
