Great food and service

My wife and I have now been to La Colombe twice and each time it was an excellent dining experience. The flavours that the resident Head Chef, Scot Kirton, is able to create in that kitchen is something quite magical. The waitrons have also been well trained and are attentive and know the platters very well and ensure that they share the information regarding each plate with great care to detail. The entire experience, and the views, are very special. If you want to treat yourself someday, go to La Colombe. They did not make it into the top few restaurants in the country for nothing! You may find the menu a little pricey in local terms, but the value, versus a similarly priced order of fish and chips in London, is good. :-)
