Giants Castle a really 5 Star Venue - Well done KZN Wildlife

We have just spent 4 nights at Giants Castle. We originally booked for 3 nights but the place was so perfect we had to stay another night. If we had more money we would still be there. Everything about this resort is really great. The setting is beautiful, being right in the berg, with absolute peace with beautiful views and a lovely recently renovated chalet. From the time one arrives at the resort the staff are fantastic, being really helpful and very friendly. We only had breakfast every day but the dining room and food was very very good. The breakfast time is from 7 am to 10 pm and so there is no need to rush. The chalets are well laid out and the cleaning is also very good.

We have been to most KZN Wildlife resorts including Hilltops , but to my mind this is the best of the lot. This can only be due to the excellent management and staff plus the idealic setting. Giants Castle really deserves the 5 star rating. The only advise I have is dont take the Mooi River route as this road is terrible, rather go via Escourt as although this route is a bit longer it is far quicker.
