On 13 June 2016 at 08:20 I am shouted through the Intercom of the school to report at the Principals office, leave learners alone in the middle of the lesson. Learners laugh at me because they know that people get assaulted at Principal’s office. On arrival, the principal harasses me, intimidates me and dismisses me as follows:
“Thabekhulu, (clan name for Mpanza). I saw you on arrival at this school that you had a problem, but I accepted you. It’s getting worse now. Are you fit to work in this school? (in an intimidating tone). Are you fit to work here? (same tone). Otherwise I’ll be compelled to get rid of you in (from) the school.
I am not afraid of your union, even if you bring one I don’t care. I don’t work like that. I work with reality. You are just telling me drunkenness. I sent a teacher to call you and you didn’t come. That is gross insubordination. And you are claiming that the teacher didn’t call you, didn’t you?
I am not assisting you now. I am destroying you now, Okay!. We are now fighting! First of all I sent a teacher to call you and you didn’t come. I asked you what you meant by the language you used and you didn’t answer me. I know. I have long been living with people. All the time I have been wiping your back all these years, I knew that I was making an enemy for myself.
Now let us be enemies, that’s fine! You’ve long been looking for that.
Mr. Mpanza I’ve got two (2) schools to take care of. Now you are wasting my time. You see that door you came by (pointing at his office door), close it on your way out. And take all your things! That gate you came by (pointing at the gate), close it on your way out!”
I then went to my classroom and packed my bag. Upon coming out, there he was, coming to fetch me. He then walked me to the gate, with continued insults and mentioning Shembe in the process.
From there I went straight to the Department of Education (Loop street) District Office ad reported the matter. I was told to do it in writing, which I did and submitted.
I have been to all the Education offices up to Head office, and Office of the MEC. They are all scared of the Principal, so they have effected his ******** dismissal. Even my attorneys are scared of him, so they are scared to take the matter up to Labour Court. Rumours are that there is a Norms and standard money (R1.5 Million) that the Education Officials share with the Principal. So that may be a hold he has on them.
May I add that this is the same Principal (TF Ngubane), that assaulted a Grade 11 D learner (Mlondi Khuzwayo) in October 2015 and even instructed his classmates to assault him further. The matter appeared on National TV stations, but h Director General shelved it under carpet.
So, for obvious reasons, my life is in danger and Education is willing to sacrifice me. They are just waiting for me to die so that this matter goes away.

I wish to add further *very important* information on efforts to get my matter resolved.
1. Education District Office- ********** 400, Nothile Cele ********** Person who works with schoolers inspector responsible for my matter. It 2. Thembi at Room 7, Ground floor.
3. Mr. Dumisa- first floor
4 CCMA case number KNMP 1418-17 Ruled that the matter is an Automatically Unfair dismissal.
I still have some faith in you Sir that you may help resolve this matter internally before it gets exposed Nationally.
I have also made several efforts to reach you and failed. I hope this email will be taken seriously.
