Forced debit order

Last year I signed contract for my daughter to get extra classes for maths. Due to covid i cannot afford them anymore. They are refusing to cancel my debit order since my contract was for 36 months and if i cancel i must pay 30% penalty hence reason for cancelation is because i cannot afford to pay them anymore. How do i go about resolving this issue?
