******ing more and more money

Wanted to purchase a Foldable Mobility Scooter advertised at R7,500. After contacting them they said that it was 2nd hand one. As My husband preferred a new one, we paid them R17,700 which included the delivery cost. Their courier then called for a further R14,000 for insurance - refundable after shipment. Has anyone ever had a good experience with this company?
