If you are a female driver, best avoid the place - they'll rip you off! I was charged R2650 to change an alternator regulator, a part that just costs around R400. And that with a so called discount, when my male friend went to collect the car with me and argued about the amount. They'll tell you all kinds of scary stories how serious and expensive the repair is and take you for a ride. Once they quoted me R1000 just to change oil - apparently because they need to do all kinds of checks on the car. Except that they don't do them! Once, right after a full car service, I paid a traffic fine for not working braking light (both receipts are still in my possession). My clock was never ever adjusted there (permanently out of sync and no one bothered) - I used Kwik Fit quite a few times. Why? Well, they were the closest to home and life was extremely busy. On top, there is this character, Pearson, with an attitude of a school bully who was rude to me and always tried to intimidate me. I phoned the manager after my last experience (the very last as I won't set my foot there again!) and he yelled at me and threatened me with a legal action for defamation if I post negative comments about them. Obviously, he does not believe in the voice of a customer... We'll rip you off and you shut up, right?
