Water repellant

I bought 3 jackets at cape union mart. Mine features water repellent, but does the oposite. When it rain i get soaking wet. The blue colour gets dark blue. From the parking till in the shop. The jacket looks bad light blue and dark blue due to rain soaking in. My friends one does not do this. Drops stay on the jacket and he shakes it off. Im very dissapointed in mine
