Payment made and no refund after cancellation

We booked our technical staff member into the Kwa-Ntulindawo Guesthouse in Vryheid on 7 August for 1 night. Shortly after sending through the payment our technician advised he was not going to be in Vryheid but in Vryburg. We contacted the guesthouse immediately and advised them of the error. We were advised that we would have to pay the bank charges but we would receive a refund. We agreed to pay the bank charges as the error was made by us.

After numerous e-mails and telephone calls requesting the refund we received confirmation from Lindoh Mnisi on 5 September that the refund would be made on 6 September we still haven't received anything. Each time we phone to query the refund we are told that Lindoh is not available or is not at the guesthouse.

Needless to say we will not be booking any of staff in at this guesthouse again.
