I bought six (6) ceiling fans from Kusa electrical in Centurion in Jan 2019. This was despite the fact that I was advised by my electrician that they are not the best fans on the market, however, due to a budget I made the decision to go-ahead as it was the slightly cheaper option. And I have seen these fans in another home and they seemed fine.

5 out of the 6 Fans have been working fine for 11 months, although limited by the 3-speed (FCF037 White Fans – 4 blades). The 6th fan was ticking and clicking and it just kept getting worse so I tried twice (sales rep and then business owner) to call for a replacement fan or at the very least for someone to come out and try fix the fan. Immediately I was told it is NOT the fan but more likely the electrician who installed the fan. I find it strange that the certified electrician (who I HIGHLY recommend) was able to install 5 fans successfully but not the 6th fan.

After the last call I was told to try fix the fan myself. Either switch blades around or then add a weight to one blade. I wonder why this would now be necessary seeing it was originally only the electrician to blame? The owner then rather reluctantly said, that I would need to return the fan in its original box, delivered to their offices, and only then they could send in to the warehouse to analyze what was wrong. Again strange as my electrician would not be involved in that.

So I then tried to add a weight, and after 4 hours and plenty trial and errors the fan still continues to click-click, and wobble wobble…totally ridiculous.

This is my first share on hellopeter.com as I am very fair and reasonable man, I feel this rant is totally justified! I myself am a business owner and I work hard to keep all my clients happy, and I also know what is required when there is an issue to resolve.
