KURTS TOWING SERVICES

Had a car accident on the 30th July 2021 ...... was a bit shaken up and forgot to call my insurer to request Tow assist - Kurts Towing were there in a second and proceeded to take down all my details etc.... subsequently the bill to tow the car, storage for 4 days admin fees, gate fees, security fees and scene clean up amounted to R15 000!!!! As for the clean up they did absolutely nothing .... this was done by other services on scene.... Insurance has tried to negiotate with them but they will not budge !!!! Absolutely disgusting to prey on people who are in a state of distress..... they should have asked me if I needed to phone my insurer for tow assist .... they just out for big bucks ...... and that amount of money is just pure greed !!!!!!
