exchange policy

I have purchased shoes to the value of R1300 on the 06 Feb 2015. I fitted the shoes of which it was size 5 on display, I wear size 7, the assistant lady advised me that it happens that sometimes shoes are not the same cut as they did fit but I cud feel that they are too tight but hoping they will adjust as time goes on. Late afternoon I decided to wear them but as I wore them I cud feel that there is no sign that they will ever adjust so today ( 07 Feb) I returned them, still in good condition, firstly they tried to check for me which branch have a bigger size, then it was gonna be arranged that in two weeks I will have my shoes. I was then told they can't exchange because I have already wore them. I was then confused after all with dissapointment.
