BAD QUALITY !
<p>Good Day</p> <p> </p> <p>About a few months ago I purchased a pair of shoes at Kurt Geiger in Clearwater Mall , Johannesburg,South Africa.Number 1 - My shoe lace on the one shoe already broke off , and the shoe lace on my other shoe is starting to wear out already !Number 2 - the stitching of both my shoes is starting to shoot loose! Number 3 - My hills are almost finished ! I am really stunned by the quality of Kurt Geiger shoes , because I paid just over R2000 for this shoes !I have 3 pairs of Florsheims that I have for over 5-10 years and these are still going strong !</p> <p>Just very disappointed at Kurt Geiger as I was under the impression that they only make"top class" footwear - I guess I was wrong !</p> <p>Very upset client ! :-(</p> <p> </p> <p>Oliver Bartlett</p> <p> ********** 198</p> **********
First & formost I would like to thank Olivia Davies from AVI for taking the time to try and assit in resolving my complaint - Thank you Olivia !
I am however very disappointed ,that my claim has been rejected on the basis that it is outside the 6 month Kurt Geiger return policy and that I have "altered" my shoes by putting on sticker soles.Any person who knows shoes and buys expensive shoes will tell you, that after you have worn the shoes for about 2-3 times you would inevitably put on sticker soles to protect the "under-surface" of the shoes. Why ?Because the shoes is EXPENSIVE (In my case it was R2200) to be exact !Kurt Geiger claims that if one put on sticker-soles it put`s pressure on the shoes and thus will cause the stiches to pull loose !I find this totally pathetic as I have a similar shoe which I puchased at Truworths, where I have not "alterted" by putting on sticker-soles and YETthe stiches still came loose , which is understandable because this shoes I only paid like R450.As I have said before I have 3 pairs of Florsheims (2 of them I have for 10 years & the other over 5 years) -These I have also "altered"by putting on sticker-soles and yet no stiching has come loose for the past 10 years! So how on earth do they justify this ??? Florsheims are also EXPENSIVE shoes & even less expensive than Kurt Geiger !Just this morning again the shoe lace from my other foot broke off !!It is clear that the quality of this shoe is pathetic !!!
Kurt Geiger has no "guts" to stand 100% by their brand , cause if they did they would gladly exchange/refund me !
I will NEVER again purchase any footwear from Kurt Geiger anywhere and especially from Clearwater Mall and I will neither recommend their footwear to anyone !!!
Any consumer reading this , I will recommend that you rather stick to Florsheims !
