Why pre-book and PAY premium price for seats, if this changes??

<p>Most of you would have noticed it is now a new thing for the airline to charge you and additional fee should you want to pre-book and select your seats.</p> <p>Front of the plane most expensive, followed by the exit seats , and then back of the plane seats. ( they also mention "extra leg-room seats"...</p> <p>Regardless, we selected, booked and PAID for our seat on our resent flight to CPT, as well as selected, booked and PAID the additional fee for the seats selected on the return flight form CPT back to JHB. (seat 5 B and C - going, and seats 6B and C - returning). Received confrimation on this in teh email when booking the flights.</p> <p> </p> <p>When wanting to do the online check-in for our return flight, it indictaed seat nr 32 A and B ( right at the back of the plane) when trying to change this and select other availible seats which still showed as "availible, the website continuasly just responded with "please selecte a different seat".</p> <p>We phoned customer care - the first lady ( unfortunately I canot recall her name) was extremely unhelp full and rude, and simply advised we be at the airport 2,5 to 2 hours before check-in and ask at teh counter to have our seats changed. End of story.</p> <p>We phone again, Nasieema, much friendlier said she wouodl phone HO and get back to us within 10min, taking contact details etc - however a call-back form Nasieema never came...</p> <p> </p> <p>Thsi is disgusting customer service - infact a complete lack there-of!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Why do we we pay an additional prmium price for specifically selected seats, if Kulula disregards this at will? Not once apologising or offering a refund for the paid forseats which we did not get.</p> <p> </p> <p>I simply do not understand why this option is offered - seems to me is it simply a money making ****.</p> <p>Truly disgusted with this!</p> <p>(unfortunately this is now the 2nd time this has happend , and I will not keep quite about this again).</p>
