Unable to refund accommodation booking on same day

Never ever again will I use Discovery Vitality or [URL Removed] to book flights or accommodation. It is not worth the 'discount' I receive if I am unable to get a full refund for accommodation that I booked and paid for that same day! And, despite what the call centre agent at kulula and at Discovery Vitality said about this term and condition being visible at the time of booking, I beg to differ. It only appears on the booking confirmation that I received once I had already booked and paid for the accommodation. It is also not a term and condition of the guest house. I have made the booking well in advance (only for 18 March) so I don't understand why it cannot be refunded! And, it is so convenient for Discovery Vitality because they just pass the buck to kulula even though I am their client not kulula's. Very disappointed!
