Totally confusing
Booked a flight from OR Tambo to King Shaka and paid R900. Phoned to change the ticket to fly to Port Elizabeth instead. The price of the flight to PE on Kulula website to Port Elizabeth was R 665.32. I was told on 3 different phone calls that I would have to pay in R 923.00!!!!!! When asked why I was told that the flight to PE was on British Airways and not Kulula.... Excuse me the flight on BA on the Kulula site was only R 665 !!!!!!<br> Can totally not understand this.... Bottom line if I had changed my flight it would have cost me R 1823 ( without change cost ) for a flight on Kulula website that was only R 665....

I certainly can understand the frustration in this regard . A payable fee would still be charged for any changes made to any reservation, in addition to having to pay a change fee, passengers would have to pay any difference between the fare and taxes on the original flight booked and the available fare and taxes (if applicable) on the new flight requested.
Our fare structure does have flexible fares which can be purchased via our contact centre and travel agents. This then allows different rules dependant on the fare class purchased and some fare classes ( namely the flexible fare ) allows passengers to chop and change according to their needs. This is a standard ticketing principle amongst all airlines .
I have in the interim requested a supervisor from the contact center to make contact with you to advise further in this regard .
