Hi! I recently made a booking for flights from Durban to JHB for 4 adults and 1 infant which cost R5509. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my mother-in-law, one of the passengers had a heart attack and had to undergo a bypass operation. I contacted the feedback team for assistance to change my flights and was emailed back that it would cost R403 booking fee and difference in fares. So i went ahead and did change the dates knowing R403 would be extra charge for change of dates where as i was charged a further R3231 additional. I understand that there is a no cancellation policy but there should be something in place for unforeseen circumstances, like sickness l, accident or even death. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with Khula flights. I would never recommend or or use them ever again. It cost me a total of R8741 just because i changed the dates. I went ahead with this change as i had it in email, black and white that R403 will cost to change flights and not R3231. I did a small investigation that if i did book the flights again as a normal booking will cost me the exact same amount of R3231 so this tells me that i was ****** for R5509. Will take legal action if i don't get any feedback or satisfaction as with the call centre agents, they all confused and different storys everytime.
