THEFT FROM SUITCASE

<p>On 11 MAY 2017 I travelled on Kulula from George to O R Tambo . On collecting my suitcase I immediately noticed that it had been tampered with. I had closed the zip with a cable tie which had been cut. I opened it and found all my cosmetics and toiletries had been emptied out of their bags, and the inner zip of the lid of my suitcase was open. The contents of my case were in total disarray and an expensive Nitecore torch costing R2446,47 was missing. I was not the only passenger whose case had been opened, and this is not the first time that it has happened to me.</p> <p>A passenger has no control over their lugguage once it has been handed in at the counter. I reported the theft immediately and was given the details to report it via email, which I have done and although my emails have been acknowledged, nothing has transpired to date. Whether the theft was by an Acsa employee or Kulula, my agreement is with Kulula and I feel that they need to refund me for the theft.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
