The most ridiculously stupid airline in South Africa

<p>I booked a flight from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth for 25 May for R894. On the ticket purchase screen when I bought it it said that flight changes are R342 plus fare difference.</p> <p>I wanted to move the ticket from Cape Town to Johannesburg so I called the customer centre who gave me a quote of R806 for the change. If I had actually just bought the ticket from Cape Town to Johannesburg it would have cost me R820. So I asked why this is the charge when the price of the ticket is actually cheaper than the previous one and so the charge should only be R342.</p> <p>The answer was that it would be with a different airline (i.e. British Airways). This is absurd since I booked through Kulula and followed what Kulula had told me. If they are subscontracting the route, it is not my problem!</p> <p>So while the call centre agent was on the phone I went to the BA website and checked for a BA ticket for the same time. That was R1048. So I asked the agent to check what the pay in difference would be for me to then change my Kulula (apparently BA) ticket to the BA flight instead. The difference to pay in was R1057!!!!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>More than just buying the ticket!</p> <p> </p> <p>What an absolute ******** of logic from the executives deciding one this pricing!</p> <p> </p> <p>Comair executives have got to be the dumbest people in South Africa.</p>
