Terrible treatment from flight attendant!
I flew Kulula on July 28th from Durban to Johannesburg and it was an absolutely awful experience. At 25 weeks pregnant, i requested an aisle seat (there were many open) as i had to climb over the guy i was sitting next to to get my 4 year old to the bathroom. When i asked the air hostess is if could move and explained why, she laughed at me and didn't bother offering to find an aisle seat. Fine.
Then, the same hostess told me to please move so she can get the trolley through. I explained that i had to stand at the toilet door because my 4 year old was in there using the toilet, she grunted. Once we were done (in a tick, a 4 year old does not have mountains of pee) and were walking back to our seats (close to the bathroom), i felt her nudge me with the trolley - i let it slide, then felt her nudge me AGAIN! To which i responded in utter disgust that she has no right to push me. She simply told me that it was a short flight and i'm holding her up as she needs to serve people. Yes, but is this any reason to push a 25 week pregnant woman with a trolley whilst her toddler (they are known to be a little slower and i can't pick him up a) space and b) pregnant.
I was absolutely appalled at the treatment i received and can tell you in no uncertain terms, that even with the Discovery discounts, i would much rather pay more for a flight i knew wouldn't be pushing me around!!!
