Dear Sir Ma'am

Today we experienced our most shocking experience on a Kulula flight.

My wife and I and two daughters flew from OR Tambo to Cape Town on flight MN133 this morning (13 August 2017, booking code UGBFHL).

My wife fractured her foot in an accident in Pretoria yesterday afternoon and has been unable to walk on that foot since. We therefore made sure that we arrived more than 90 minutes before our flight as we expected it may be challenging to travel with our luggage and two young daughters aged 1 and 3. We arrived at the airport and asked for a wheelchair at information, this was not available. I therefore had to put my wife on the luggage trolley and wheel her to the kulula counter. At the Kulula counter we again asked for a wheel chair as my wife was unable to weight bear on her broken foot.We waited for an HOUR for a wheelchair, by which time it was too late to get breakfast or coffee in the airport lounge, My daughter had bought a new ball, we asked the lady at he Kulula counter if she could take it on as hand luggage, she said yes no problem. When we checked through 15 minutes later we were told that as it was not deflated they had to confiscate it. We were given incorrect information at the Kulula desk. On boarding the Kulula staff were rude and made us wait with me carrying two children and hand luggage. I had to leave the two young children alone on the plane seat and come back to help my wife board!! On arrival in Cape Town we were taken off the plane on a seperate bus for people with special needs etc.The bus pulled up near to the baggage reclaim and ONCE AGAIN no wheelchair, my wife had to hop on one leg fpr 200m to the baggage reclaim ( I could not carry her as I had both children and the hand luggage). We then found a wheelchair close to the baggage reclaim and a gentlemam wheeled my wife towards the domestic arrivals exit while I waited at the lugage carousel. He then left her at the exit and told her that was all he could do. Now I was really stuck, I had a luggage trolley, two children as well my wife who was unable to walk and I could not get her to the car as she could not fit on top of the luggage. i went to the ACSA information ask for a wheelchair or assistance and they told me they had no wheelchairs.

I had to wait for a relative to drive to the airport to get an extra luggage trolle help us get to the car!!

This service by both Kulula and ACSA is dismal and depending on the reponse to this mail I'm considering using social media to makle a noise,

I am very disappointed and disgusted by your service.

Dr Ben van Stormbroek
