RUDE flight attendant

I had an unfortunate experience on flight MN605 from OR TAMBO to KING SHAKA INTL on 10 June 2021. I had hand luggage and I needed assistance with putting it in the overhead compartment. I’m a petite person and genuinely couldn’t get it up on top. So I asked the flight attendant(male) if he could assist me. He seemed annoyed by the request and proceeded to tell me that they were not allowed to assist. Now if this is the case, how does the airline expect those who are unable to reach the overhead compartment to do? If he was just being rude, then I would like for him to be called to order. It’s EXTREMELY unprofessional conduct and ruined my entire flight experience.
