Not impress with Kulula at all.....

Flight MN805 - take off at 6:50.... So we had terrible traffic on Thursday morning 25 Feb from Pretoria East, which led to us being 10 minutes late for check-in, even though I checked in the previous day, still that did not help at all, had my barcode scanning thing and then the bar code scanner did not work (so what is the use of the scanner and of booking in online) well needless to say, they send us back to checking to ask for help but no, it is as if the staff does not really want to help, no they would rather want to make money...
So missed our flight, had to pay penalty fees and for new tickets, ok so that is R1600 extra. We were only able to fly the afternoon at 15:55, what happens the flight is delayed for an hour....but that is just fine for kulula to be late..
Then our flight back on 29 February 2016, guess what happens AGAIN... the flight MN805 was delayed again for 30min....

So this is how it works, we cant be late with 10min, but the airline KULULA can be late every single time!!!!

Really ****!!!

Don't think we will be using KULULA again, rather pay extra for better service!!

Not impress at ALL!! And trust me word of mouth goes a long way!!!

Hello LeandreM,

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. I am sorry to hear about the problems encountered regarding whilst travelling with us.

Most delays are not within our control but we are working very hard to improve on the delays that are within our control. We are sure that you will understand that our primary and utmost concern is for the safety of our customers and crew.

It is required from all passengers to be at the airport 90mins prior to departure time of your flight. All our flights close 30 minutes prior and the boarding close 10mins prior because all the figures that needs to be finalized (weight and balance ) before the air craft is due to take off.

We may not re-open a flight once it has been closed and this cause's irregularities in the figures and the paperwork takes longer to finalise.

When a customer misses a booked flight, that ticket is then forfeited (depending on the ticket purchased). Missing your flights means you will have to pay the difference in fares if you within 30min grace period.

We will be in touch with you directly for more information regarding your concerns.

Kind regards,
Thuli
