NO REFUND ON 2 RETURN FLIGHTS TO CAPE TOWN JULY & AUGUST 2021

I had 2 flights cancelled in July and August 2021 due to Covid restrictions and I have been trying UNSUCCESSFULLY to get a refund from them since this period last year. I have had the run around both calling their Help Centre, speaking to them on FB Messenger as well as emailing one of their operators directly. I tried to rebook the 2 flights for my daughter and her partner as a last resort but was then told if the flights were cancelled due to COVID, I CANNOT book in another person's name. Frankly this is their modus operandi....it is impossible to get you money back even though at this stage the cost of those 2 flights would not even pay for 1 return ticket to Cape Town now; I would rather have something in hand rather than 100% of NOTHING. Now Comair is declaring bankruptcy so that is my R3000 down the drain.
