No explanation, no apology

On 2 march 2016 I was booked on Kulula flight no 105 at 15h25 to Cape Town. I had already checked in on line and stood in the line for security check-in. At this point I was told that my boarding pass was not valid, go to Kulula check-in and get another boarding pass. Then told the flight was cancelled go to ticket sales. I was given a voucher and told to queue at BA check-in for a ticket for BA flight 6429 at 17h00. No explanation, no apology, no nothing.

Very poor service.

Hello jayi,

Thank you for your post. I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience caused to you whilst using our services. We try hard to keep to our published schedule as we understand the impact it has on our customers. Any delays/cancellations to our schedule due to factors within our control are only imposed when absolutely necessary as it has a business impact on us as well.
Flight MN105/01Mar'16 was cancelled as two aircraft were pulled from the operation due to technical reasons. The flight was cancelled at the last minute and therefore not all our staff were made aware. We have received valuable feedback from affected customers. We are taking immediate corrective steps to regain your confidence in us. We have begun putting a plan in place to provide a better and more efficient service when disruptions occur and improved procedures for handling operational difficulties in the future.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to respond. We do hope to welcome you onboard our flights in the near future.
Yours Sincerely,
Nazley - CR
