Never forget your ID

I want to just start by saying I messed up. I had a flight to go see my parents and forgot my I.D at home.

When it was time for my flight I was refunded and got told to get my ID and buy another ticket. I had my boarding pass, I had my ticket, I had my receipt for the flight, I had a certified copy of my ID on my phone and I got told No. I had a small panic attack because of how important this flight was an in tears pleaded for help and a No, just a No, the type of no that people use when they want to make sure you get the message.

With No choice, I went to the ticket counter and guess what... No one cared about my ID when it was time to pay, just felt like a kick while I was already down. I spent another R1300 that I couldn't afford, had to Uber to town and back.

To make sure I was down an out, I was put on a British Airways flight which just felt like they didn't want to deal with me anymore.

Learn from my mistake, bring your ID and make sure you spell your name right on your ticket because if you mess us you'll be given a No in the same tone of an ECG machine after someone has passed away. Cold and flat.

Cherry on the Cake is that my return flight is with Kulula and right now it hurts thinking about like I just went through a breakup with someone I use to Love.
