Never again

We checked in 24 hours before our flight. I booked my family together so that we could sit two two. When we went to check our bags in, our seats were scattered. When I inquired they said the flight was fully booked and we couldn’t sit together. I find this very unprofessional, why give the option to check in before the time if you are just going to move my seats. I am highly disappointed!
