My wedding Ring ****** by Kulula Staff
On a Friday of 25 March 2022, I was travelling with MN 0606 from King Shaka to OR Tambo at 14:10.
Earlier that day I jogged before my trip. Usually after jogging my fingers and feet gets swollen, hence I don’t put on my wedding ring on those days. Because I was travelling that day, I took my ring and put it on my earrings case in my big bag. At check in, I completely forgot that my earrings case was in my main bag with my ring. And the bag was checked in.
When I got to my accomodation I realised that someone opened my earrings case cause my earrings were all scattered in my bag. I immediately looked for my ring and it was then when I realised that it was no longer there. I reported this at the airport on my way back home and was told that there’s nothing they can do since I was suppose to report the incident before taking my luggage with me from the airport. I asked myself that who open their bags after landing to see if all their Belongings are still there. Well I don’t since I always have my ring on when flying except for that day.
Anyway, I was given this number *** to call for further assistance. This number is not in service and therefore does not go through.
I posted on Kulula.com’s Facebook page for help since the incident happened and sent follow up posts for help to date, not even one person has responded to me while other peoples’ comments from the same post are being responded to.
No one is bordering to help me or even try to go through cameras to see what really happened. It’s business as usual for kulula even while their staff members are *****ing from their passengers.
