Money debited but no flight ticket

I booked a flight on their website and got an error message saying ticket issuing error I should call Kulula. I received a bank notification that the money was deducted. and I did call Kulula and they told me that the message on their side the bank did not honor the transaction. Now I have no money and no flight to travel. I did not know that I can only use credit card to book a flight on Kulula because that was the response I got from their call agents and I was using a cheque card.
