Kulula - worst service ever!
Possibly, actually, most certainly the worst airline service by far - Kulula.com I arrived to the airport in time for my flight- I noticed on the display screens that my late night flight has been delayed by another 30 minutes. I see that there is the earlier flight - that will be taking off at my initial flight time, which was 21:55. I visit the check in counters - and ask for assistance. A lady by the name of Meryl assists and checks the fight status, as well as let’s me know that there are seats available and I can visit the ticket sales counter to pay the difference and board the earlier flight. At the ticket sales counter - and here I would like like to say Nokuthula assisted me, but quite frankly didn’t. Checks my flight details and tells me that an e-notification was sent to my number. I was 100 % adamant that I didn’t receive this, as 2 other passengers traveling with me, with different details also did not get an sms. Nokuthula then stated that she is not sure why Meryl sent me to the counter as the flight leaving for my initial time was closed and had been closed. Off to the supervisor I went. The most pathetic excuse for management I have ever seen. Ashen, the flight controller - spent more time trying to find evidence that communication was sent to my phone, along with his sidekick Zamokuhle. Zamokuhle then stated that no notification is sent out if a flight is 30 minutes delayed. Whilst Ashen made a few calls trying to prove that a notification was sent. All this manager attempted to do was apologies for Meryl providing my with false information- and saying that he would talk to her (please note that at this point, he didn’t even know that it was Meryl that assisted me- so Ashen basically planned to just state false claims and apologies to me for “peace of mind” as he didn’t even know who he would need to talk to) The most shocking and disgusting part of it all was how poor the mannerisms and body language of the man beside him was (Zamokuhle) ashen, as management allowed this man to be so nonchalant to a paying customer - I asked for names and not even being spoken to , I’m asked to read a name badge for myself. - talk about “great” service. All I have to say is that my flight which is suppose to be departing at 21:55 is now departing at 23:00 and I only received notification at 21:55 (the time my flight is suppose to depart) Well done Kulula on not only your pathetic service but your poor employment choices too
