Kulula unable to issue Travelbank credit because 'it expired 30 November 2021'

I purchased a ticket on 27 Dec 2019 for Kulula from Lanseria to CPT with Insurance. Covid-19 came and could not travel. Lack of constant communication meant I wasn't aware Kulula issued a credit under TravelBank which would expire 30 November 2021. There was no communication via my normal email of this, never mind that during that period we were in the Fourthwave and i haven't flown since 2019. The staff from Comair Limited this week then stated '

'Please can I refer you to our kulula web site which is self-explanatory on Travel Bank usage for tickets purchased and not used during the Covid period. You will note that the Travel Bank credits had to be used by 30 November 2021. The link below refer.

https://www.kulula.com/flights/travelbank

https://www.kulula.com/travel-updates/flexible-reaccommodation-unflown-ticket-policy

Unfortunately the Travel Bank credits will not be extended further.'

I find it bizarre and shocking that a credit induced from Covid-19 expires, with little to non-existent communication and one is referred to the website.

To lose over R3K (including the Travel insurance) is quite shocking. How other Competitors give 24 months for such vouchers, which makes sense given the current Covid-19 and yet Kulula issues vouchers which expire when travel is limited is amusing.
