My gran, on a state pension, needs oxygen to get by, has bought a plane ticket for herself, her excessive luggage and her motorized wheel chair, so that she can attend the wedding of one of her grand children in CT.

This return JHB to CT ticket is not cheap.

Kulula have told us that our gran is not allowed to take her own oxygen on the plane and that she has to use their oxygen.

They then told us that she must pay $400 (dollars????) for oxygen which only they can provide.

Also, because she cannot take her own oxygen equipment on the flight, she has to find a place that will rent her oxygen for 9 days. Due to her state pension rules, this is proving to be near impossible to arrange.

What is it that makes Kululas' oxygen equipment different to the equipment our gran is already using?
What justifies their charging such a ridiculously high amount?
What justifies their charging dollars for the oxygen?
Have Kulula considered the tremendous difficulties they are causing for our gran?

We have spent over R 10 000 on tickets and being forced to spend another R 6000 for oxygen for 4 hours seems ******** on Kululas part.

Do you have a conscience Kulula?
