Kulula CANCELS your flights for you

I decided to skip one of my (PAID) flights with Kulula and as a result - without my kmowledge - they cancelled my return flight (which I needed to take!) and then expected me to pay in to rebook my flight. I feel this is a violation of my privacy as I paid for the flights and it is my business what I do with them. I also feel Kulula can call me to confirm with me before doing with my paid property what they feel like. It is essentially theft.

Hello AnnaCaro ,

Thank you for your post .

When one makes a booking online, it does notify the booker in the terms and conditions that any down line inventory would be cancelled if the first sector is missed , which was agreed to prior to confirming the booking at that time. Passengers are advised to contact the call center or airport prior to the first flight being flown , to be assisted with making relevant changes to the booking to avoid the return sector cancelling .

Each airline has its own rules and regulations which need to be adhered to . Missing one's flight also means your return flight and any onward flights become automatically cancelled due to Revenue Integrity tool.

In addition to having to pay a change fee for a change of reservation, you would have to pay any difference between the fare and taxes on the original flight booked and the available fare and taxes (if applicable) on the new flight requested. I am aware that there have been changes made to the policy on the 14th Oct 2015 .

Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to explain.

Bye for now
