Inconsistent, Unreliable communication and an unjust response to covid-19. We should be refunded!

I booked a flight for my mom and dad and another for myself and my sister to travel to cape town for my graduation in March. The combined value of the bookings was almost R8000.00 With graduation ceremonies being cancelled due to covid-19, we could not travel. I have been in contact with representatives from Kulula and BA as well as the Comair business rescue team since March trying to get a refund. After numerous attempts to contact the airlines and much spent airtime on these attempts, I finally managed to speak to someone. I can't remember the name of the first person I spoke to, but the assistant said they would take my matter to management as I indicated that I needed my refund deposited back into my bank account. The first lady I spoke to, could not make a definitive decision and took my contact details to hand over my case to management and said they would contact me back but didn't. Within the month of March, possibly a week before my departure date (26 March) I called again and spoke to a lady called Unathi who addressed my case with much diligence. I gave her my flight details, indicated that I would like to have my refund deposited back into my personal account and not a travel acc. She spoke to management and on that call, told me that I would receive my refund. She said I should wait for about three weeks for the money to reflect in my bank acc and that after the call, I would get an email from Kulula with the cancellation details and confirmation of refund. Till this day I have not heard from Unathi, never got a refund and cancellation confirmation email. June 11, I lodged a complaint to Kulula asking them to honour their word. I received an automated response from comair. I sent a direct email to comair stating my case on Aug 13, I got a response with all kinds of details around how the money can be used to book a new trip and that the value of my tickets will automatically be extended to 31 October 2021. They also said they expect to resume operations by 1 November 2020. I asked if I could use the funds to book a BA flight for an international trip, they said no. I asked if they could book me a domestic flight for the 8th of Jan, they said they can only help me with a new booking but if I want to book from the funds they have, which essence belong to me, that can only be done from the 11th of Jan. There seems to not be a proper conversation among representatives from Kulula, BA and Comair as their communications are inconsistent and unreliable. I am really disappointed at how this has been handled and still want my money back.
