Incompetence?
I phoned the contact centre to find out about the limited mileage on the flight and car combos. I was put through to three separate departments, only to have the phone put down in my ear. All we want to know is what the limited mileage is (as in how many kilometres per day), why there even is a limit on the mileage and why this cannot be changed on the website (when we are paying for the car per day anyway and will put petrol in as we need it) and how much the excess is when we go over the limit. I feel that the first consultant I spoke to should have been able to answer these questions for me (or at least answer the last two) - why is there a contact centre if one simply gets forwarded on to various departments? Then just have the respective departments' direct numbers on your website and perhaps someone will be able to assist your potential customers, efficiently. Why would one have to obtain a quote from the reservations department first, in order to find out those simple (surely common) bits of information? Sadly, your consultants do not listen to the questions/queries of the customers, they are all too keen to refer the customer to someone else - in mid sentence. After I emailed this to ********** - which is provided on the website - I received a notice that my email address is blocked due to being spam! How does one communicate and deal with a company who does not take measures to ensure that their customers are able to collect any form of information efficiently?
