I don't read barcodes

I just met such a rude hostess on MN 595 from Lanseria to Durban. I used a Kulula electronic boarding pass. When I entered the aircraft she said "sorry I don't read barcodes". All that she had to say is "please show me the other version of the boarding pass". We delayed the line; all other passengers on board were looking at me. I literally had to go back to my email & figure out what she wanted. Nothing nice about being rude.
