How can they not know I was on their flight?

My wife and made a return flight booking on Kulula (Booking code HUDPIJ) on 30 September 2016. We left Monday 7 November 2016 from George to Johannesburg. All went well. From there we went to Zanzibar. When had to return on Sunday 13 November 2016, we were told at the check-in counter that we are not on the system for that flight (11:05) and we had to go to the tick counter. There we were told we had missed our flight MN926 (Monday flight) - which was absolutely ******* and incomprehensible. How can a system not pick up we were on the flight? Then the supervisor asked us to provide proof we were on the flight. Only a hour later my wife found a boarding stub. We were eventualy given boading passes but the Supervisor was totally out of his depth and persented no apology one we proofed we were on the fligh. I lodge a complaint on the Kulula website and a certain Thuli asked for proof of the second booing which we never receieved.

With all the security at airports and with airlines how could this have happened? ******* status in my eyes
