Horrible, *********** Systems and Staff

On the 30 March 2017 I booked for flights to Durban via the www.kulula.com website. I was directed to my internet banking as I chose the EFT method of payment.

Upon the completion of payment I got a message that said my payment has been received however my flight booking was not confirmed. I then picked up the phone and called the call centre and I was told that the particular flight was no longer available and I have to make another booking and request for a refund. I was livid as this was clearly an inconvenience to me due to Kulula’s inefficiencies. But I let it go.

I then went back to the site and found that the particular flight that I was told is no longer available was still there online for anyone to book. I then did another booking and sent an email to ********** to request for my refund on the same day. On the 31 March 2017, a lady by the name of Thandiwe Mbatha responded with a request form that I needed to complete in order for me to get my refund back.

On the 3rd of April I returned the completed form to the same email and up until today I have not received my refund.

I called the Call Centre at around 11H20 today the 19th April 2017 and was told by the lady on the other side that it takes up to 8 weeks to do a refund, which was in contrast to what I was told previously, the period that was mentioned was less than 3 working days, otherwise I would have instructed my bank immediately not to honor that particular payment. I am really frustrated I actually want my whole money paid back to me ASAP including the second bookings.
