My family and I are disgusted at the level of professionalism displayed by the ground staff of Kulula. Our flight to Cape Town was scheduled to depart at 08:10. An email communique was received that the flight will be delayed to 09:10. Another mail was later sent out saying that the flight will only depart at 10.10. Upon arrival at the boarding gate, the gate operator informed us that he was very sorry for the delay, but MN117 was now classified 'indef' (which I assume means it's departure is now indefinite.) And that she should go to wimpy and order to the value of 110zar at Kululas expense. The gate operator intimated that their might be a technical problem with the plane and their staff are working to fix it.
In this time MN135 was the next flight to cape town which boarded and left at 10:50. (With no delay to its occupants)
So occupants of flight MN117 are stuck at Wimpy awaiting further communication after a delay of almost three hours. Ground staff and the call centre have no idea what's going on... and it's not even full blown festive season yet!
