Exploitation of Customers
I had booked a flight to East London for the 14th November returning to Johannesburg on the morning of the 15th November 2015. I missed my flight (to my dismay) but luckily found a lift down to East London. On my arrival at the airport the next day, I was told that my flight was auto cancelled (not even an sms or email to inform me of this). I was told I should pay almost one thousand rand to rebook the flight (which I had already paid for).

When I emailed customer services to demand a refund, I received a shocking response about t's and c's and how I had to call call centre's and send emails to inform the airline that I wouldn't make the flight.

I think this is extremely unreasonable and the dismay of finding yourself stuck and unable to return home is even more frustrating. I would like my return ticket refunded in full urgently.
