I was booked for a flight on 23 October 2014 from CPT to JNB at 20h00 departure time, flight MN460. I fell ill earlier that afternoon but I arrived in time for check-in. I was advised that on medical grounds I should rather wait for the next flight and lie down a bit to rest and recover. The Kulula staff en medical advisors at the airport all agreed on such advice. What I was not told was that I would have to fork out an extra R1 395 for the comfort of a bed for two hours. That to me seems unfair and excessive. I called their helpline who referred me to the refunds department. I have sent the refunds department two emails already, but to no avail. I am simply being ignored. <br> Kulula's management must surely be aware of the 'treating customers fairly' doctrine, but in this case I am of the opinion that Kulula fails the test.
