Disappointed
<br> This morning I flew from cape town to joburg after booking the so called king ? seats. Which I was charged extra for. On arrival I was jammed into a midget seat in row 2. At 6 foot 6 and a hundred and 20 kilos I have been left with bruised legs and a bitter taste in my mouth. When I chatted to your flight staff they told me I was incorrect and you could not book special seats. After advising them of your ad in your inflight magazine they still told me I was wrong. Please advise. I have booked the same back to cape town on Monday at 17:15.<br> <br> I await your urgent response<br> <br> Thanks<br> <br> BRENT LYALL<br>

Thank you for your post. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you when your seats were not pre assigned.
I am disappointed to learn of the incorrect information you received. Customers are indeed able to purchase leg room seats online. I will be addressing this matter with the airport managers.
According to your booking, you purchased seat 2F. Unfortunately due to an aircraft change your seat was changed to 2A. When it comes to changes in seat configurations, we do try and accommodate customers on similar seats. Unfortunately the seat you were re-accommodated on 2A, was the 2nd row on the ABC side of the aircraft, whereas seat 2F was the 1st row on the DEF side with more legroom.
We can assure you we do understand the frustration our customers feel as a result of their seat requests not being met. In the interim we do thank you for your patience and understanding. We do value your loyalty and support and hope that future flights with us will demonstrate the level of service you have come to expect from us.
