I have been flying with Kulula for at least 7 years now, maybe 6 or so times a year

- During this time, I have always requested a Wheelchair from Check-In to the plane because of a Disability which prevents me walking up stairs and long distances

- Kulula and ACSA have always kindly obliged and my flights have always been hassle free as a result

Today however, I was asked by Kulula to go to my Doctor so that he can complete a form to confirm that I can fly

- I quickly called Kulula to explain that this wouldn’t be necessary because I have been flying for years, I am OK to fly now and that I just need a wheelchair for the stairs and long walk

- The agent wasn’t interested in my explanation and insisted that they wouldn’t let me fly without the Doctor’s Letter (INCAD)

- I even showed the agent that the INCAD form had specific reasons for completion, which are reasonable reasons, but didn’t apply to me (like recent operation, oxygen tank, stretcher, etc)

I feel hurt and discriminated against

- Especially because it felt like the agent was treating me like I was *********** to decide if I am safe to fly or not and because I have Disability, I now have to pay extra to go see a Doctor
