Delayed Flight

My flight was booked during the first week of January. I got a call yesterday morning to inform me that the aircraft carrier is changed from Kulula to British Airways. If I didn't accept the change, I was told that my seat wouldn't be guaranteed. Insteadarting at 20:30, departure was changed to 22:30. I'm still waiting to board as there are delays upon delays. I asked to speak to a manager & there isn't one available. All this loss of my time with my family isn't a concern with Kulula/BA. If this was the case, I could have driven to Durban & would arrived by now. I have someone waiting to fetch me from King Shaka Airport & he is going to work tomorrow. This isn't just an inconvenience to me but to other people as well. This is very frustrating. I'm sure that I wouldn't have had this issue if I booked with Safair. I do not want just an apology but to be compensated for my loss of time. The least that could have been done is for an SMS to be sent out so passengers are aware of the delay instead of sitting like idiots at the airport. If I as a passenger was delayed, would the airline wait for me? What's the point if changing my flight as there is still a delay.

Passengers shouldn't book flights with Kulula in peak periods as it's not guaranteed.

Disappointed!!!

Most people will ignore my complaint but there could be an episode where an important funeral is missed. Then what? All the airline will do is say sorry. The final goodbyes will be lost forever yet the airline will continue to make money!!!!
