Delayed Flight
Kulula needs to stop now with these delayed flights especially to Lanseria Airport. My 2 kids (3 year old and 5 year old) and my sister are flying from Durban to Lanseria tonight and we jst received notification about 30mins ago that the flight will be delayed...for almost an hour. They say you must be there atleast 90mins before which means they are meant to be there at around 18:30pm.So if you tell them at 18:00pm does it not occur to you that they have already left the house? These are young kids for goodness sake and it would have helped to have them in the house for longer to maybe take a nap. I think my patience has run out with this airline...so annoyed!

I do apologise for the delay on your family 's flight which was due to an earlier flight that had a technical problem . We would really love to have our flights adhere to their schedule however in this industry nothing is set in stone. Where there is a mixture of manual and mechanical labour something is bound to go wrong at times. We have very competent engineers who would not allow an aircraft to pushback if it was not 100% safe. As the same aircraft was scheduled to operate your kid's flight therefore this delay impacted on them,
You have raised a valid point with regards to communication, rest assured we will certainly take cognisance of this going forward.
Once again , please accept our apologies for the lapse in service .
