Cramped and Unsafe Kulula

Flight MN 105 on 26th June. Our office manager booked and paid an additional R80 for a front row seat for me. On boarding, I was alllocated seat 2A. The seats were set so close together that I sat with my knees literally jammed into the seat in front of me and I was unable to move at all for the duration of this completely full flight. At 1.89m, I am not abnormally tall but on measuring, there was only an 18cm gap between the seats. I am not an airline health and safety expert, but I cannot see how this cramped seat configuration can comply with CAASA regulations. Not only was the flight ridiculously unsafe and uncomfortable, but my company paid R80 for something I didn't receive. I understand the principle of maximum yield, but Kulula seems to be compromising passenger safety and comfort, the very issues that the Captain told us by way of his on board welcome, were the company's highest priority. Very poor indeed!
