Charge for cancellations

I am scheduled to fly from Durban to lanceria airport this evening but due to the known fact that Durban is flooding which makes it impossible for me to drive to the airport. a lady by the name of Nobantu said that I will have to pay R540.00 to change the ticket which is the same amount that I paid for the current ticket and was told that ****s are the only ones who charges this ridiculous amount for changing the ticket for the reason which is due to circumstances that are beyond my cotrol
